LANDNAV is an authentic simulation of military land navigation training.
LANDNAV is suitable as a training supplement for military and outdoors professionals. 1 to 1 parity with real world map and compass techniques.
Plan your route using authentic lensatic compass and 1:50,000 scale military topographic map.
- Highly realistic forest terrain for immersive practice of terrain association techniques.
- Terrain association is more time consuming skill to train compared to dead reckoning – LANDNAV is the only 3d simulation that offers challenging and realistic environments in which terrain association plays a larger role compared to dead reckoning techniques.
The current version is the same version that has been used by many early testers to help prepare for many different military courses. It is marked as an early build work in progress because many fixes as well as new content is planned. Your support of the project helps me continue to improve the experience.
